Came home for the holidays over a week ago. My younger brother loves the idea of baking on a cold night to finish of the day. I didn’t have the energy in me to actually bake but we did something of that nature. He did push my dad to make us chocolate milk, even though I didn’t like it that much. I’d much rather upload pictures from my camera but forgot the cable. The holidays are a bit difficult for my family but we’re trying our hardest to pull through. I’m leaving to go back to school next Friday. Spending a week with Stephen in San Francisco. I’ll be in the city for New Years Eve, but I haven’t planned anything yet, ek! If any of my followers have ideas on things to do in SF just drop me a message, I’d appreciate it.
Now I’m off to cuddle up on my bed and watch a show I just started watching; it’s called “Grimm”. Have a nice night.
No More Canned or Frozen Food for LA Unified School District ›
In an effort to provide students in the Los Angeles Unified School District with healthier food options, the second largest district in the country is eliminating canned and frozen food items from its menus,according to the Los Angeles Times. Students will no longer be able to eat items like chicken nuggets or corn dogs. Instead, they will have the option to choose from locally grown produce.
@CPK and let me just say this wow! When did you guys change the menu? I’m certain it wasn’t too long ago that this happened. Ordered something new tonight a Tequila Chicken Fettuccine. It’s been nice to have an outing with my sister. Stephen is on the west coast this week. He’s in San Francisco for work and I’m stuck in LA, boo.
